I got my blog out and took a quick shower Thursday morning (10/14) before Paula picked me up and we headed off to quilting. Hopefully this is the last week I will be knitting at quilting….next week is the Fiber Floozies retreat (no blog entries) and I will come home with my machine from Janice (God willing and there’s enough room in the car :~). We had a lot of people at quilting:

and after stopping at Jimmy John’s (for Paula) and Taco Bell (for me) we came home and had lunch together.

I’ve been having a problem with one of my big toes…and the foot doctor could squeeze me in on Friday…but I couldn’t get my hairdresser (where I had an appointment at the same time on Friday) to call or text me back…so Paula drove me down there and I ended up cancelling the hair appointment. I can’t let this toe problem fester (literally) for a week while I’m gone….so it had to take precedence over the hair :~(.

Anyway, finally by 2:30 PM I was back in the studio. I’m still cleaning up odds and ends….mostly cutting scrap background strips for a retreat project. Michael and I finished up the yummy chicken and noodle dish for dinner, then he left for rehearsal and I continued cutting while watching A CHORUS LINE….a terrific, old movie.
