Thursday (10/27) was another great day of quilting!
And food (this was breakfast):
Lots of show and tell:
-Sandy, with more teeny, tiny blocks:
lots of laughing, lots of prizes….
I’m really tired :~).
I was home just after 4 PM and putzed in my sewing room for quite a bit, before having dinner and vegging for a bit on the couch. Michael decided he wanted to watch one of his shows, so I spent a bit of time in the studio and made a start on the reclaimed fabric. This is what you get for the final disposition…a pile of scraps that will go in dog beds for the shelter:
and a pile of 2-1/2’’ strips to go in my scrap drawers:
I just had to post another picture of the rose…it still looks absolutely gorgeous several days later. It was raining just a tiny bit in the morning and I thought the rain was beautiful on the petals:

100 years ago….fascinating!
All of the Show and Tell from the retreat are so great! I love the little kitties and the mouse quilt. Is that a quilt or something else? The second rose picture looks like a piece of porcelain. Stunning!
