I headed out to quilting on Thursday (11/4) on a cold, drizzly, gray day. We had a slightly smaller crowd, but still lots of beautiful show and tell:
When I got home around 1 PM, I finally put together peanut butter cookie dough and got it all baked off:
I sent 28 cookies off with Michael to rehearsal, bagged up some for Phyllis (our mail person) and Linda (a friend) and left them out in the mailbox and paper tube, ate about 6 of them…and packaged up the rest for us…that recipe really makes a bunch!
I took a nap after that and after a quick dinner with Michael (leftover Chinese), he took off for rehearsal, while I headed to the studio. I made 2 QoV quilt tops at retreat, and I wanted to get the measurements and get some 108’’ wide backing out to start getting them quilted.
I have to ask, how often is quilting? These ladies produce a lot between sessions, or do they just save it up to show all at once?
