I got my blog out and my honey packed up the car for me on Thursday morning (9/12) before I picked up Paula to head off to quilting. I spent a lot of time in the morning getting the seams for the second half of the Christmas quilt pressed open. I figured it would be much easier on the large ironing board at quilting and it certainly was. We had terrific show and tell:
The woman in the next 2 pictures ended up at a retreat at QUILTVILLE Inn with Bonnie Hunter....she told us all about it and it sounded wonderful. Apparently they are scheduling ''singles'' in almost every month.....Janice take note!
and Paula and I got home shortly after 1 PM.
I read in the afternoon and after leftover pizza for dinner, Michael and I headed to the custard truck at the lodge to get a bit of ice cream. I loved my ice cream sandwich, but he was less than impressed with his ‘turtle’ bar, which both of us expected to have pecans in it…..and it had peanuts instead.
*** Everyone has a stomach like an ironing board….some of us just have bigger piles of ironing on ours. ***
