I headed out to quilting on Thursday (3/17)…we had a wonderful time, with lots of good show and tell:
we all loved June's gorgeous backing
-and we loved Laura's backing as well
I hit Hobby Lobby on the way home, then headed to KOHL’s to return a recent AMAZON purchase (I am so grateful that AMAZON purchases can sometimes be returned there) and by that time, it was time to head to HAND AND STONE for my massage. I didn’t get home until after 4 PM!
I was really beat when I got home (I haven’t been sleeping well this week at all….as June suggested, maybe it’s the time change) so I took a nap before dinner. And a fabulous dinner we had…we haven’t made our special pizzas in awhile, so that’s what was one the menu:
-ALDI's sells these baguettes that are only about 1-1/2 inches high.....and I cut those in half lengthwise
-then we spread them with homemade pesto
-Michael's get layered with mushrooms and spinach, while mine get onions
-then slices of mozarella and yummy thick sliced tomatoes
-into the toaster oven they go, on 350 degrees for 15 minutes
-a drizzle of balsamic and they are YUMMY!! (By the way Paula....do you still have any access to this California balsamic? I am almost out!!)
We relaxed in front of the boob tube after that!
*** I’ve got a salad for dinner…actually a fruit salad…well, mostly grapes….OK….ALL grapes…fermented grapes. WINE…I’ve got WINE for dinner!!! ***
Looks like June's quilt is a Bonnie Hunter pattern ? Very pretty ! Pizza's look DELish !
