SHQ Show & Tell 5/19/22

Michael packed up the car on Thursday (5/19) and I picked up Paula and headed out to quilting. Paula couldn’t sew (still recovering from surgery), but she socialized while we were there. I was glad she came along…it’s not the same when she is not there….PLUS, she helped a fellow quilter make the cutest kids quilt….I hope to post a picture of the monkey quilt when it is all done. We had a good sized group, but for the first time in a long time, we only had a tiny bit of show and tell:

-this is from a ''hidden wells'' class that Jan H and I taught many, many years ago!

I stopped at Paula’s house on the way home to drop her off and pick up a quilt that needs to be finished, so wasn’t home until around 2:30 PM.

It took awhile to get through my emails and get a blog out, but eventually I started to work on the last men’s quilt:

I got it all cleaned up and off of the frame and trimmed:

but once again, I couldn’t put it on the binding pile as ‘’the princess and the pea’’ furry daughter was sleeping there:

I got to talk to several friends in the evening, and after that I started to sew together the rows on blue….and by the time golf watching was over and I joined Michael upstairs…the bottom half was all put together:

Hmmm...I think I have a Hidden Wells started from when you taught it one retreat, long ago. Obviously, completely forgotten until seeing the finished one in show and tell. It's not on my current UFO pile, wonder where I hid, uh packed, it?
