My honey packed a bunch of my stuff in the car Thursday morning (8/25) and collected all of the newspapers for recycling. Of course that meant the newspaper basket was empty...and that's catnip to a kitty:
I headed out to quilting (after a stop at the library to return a bunch of books and the bank for a few transactions). I was so productive at quilting (hmmmm...Loree wasn't there and we generally sit next to each other....does that mean we talk too much?!?!?!) I got all of my 16 blocks done for my striped quilt. There are basically 2 different blocks....but the colors move around in the blocks:
We had great show & tell:
I left quilting and stopped at SECOND CHANCE to drop off a big box of donations (Mary Jo I felt really good about that!), and made a quick grocery trip to FOOD LION, and I was home before 3 PM.
I decided to continue putting up my new blue chandelier quilt. I need to finish it and get it sewn together so that I can put up my new blocks, completed at quilting. Either that, or I need to sew together the leftover HST’s:
to clear off the other side of my design wall.
My honey and I had leftover pizza for dinner before he headed off to rehearsal.
Yes, Great Job on the donations !
