I headed out early on Tuesday (10/5) for a routine teeth cleaning (and yes, since I have had joint replacements I had to take 4 nasty tasting capsules of antibiotics).
By the time I got home it was 11:30 AM, and by the time I had a bit of breakfast and checked out some mail, I didn’t make it to the studio until 1:30 PM. I finally got the final borders on my Squiggle Quilt and I LOVE it:
I need to look into making it a bit bigger next time...I figure I'll just increase the size of the blocks...but I have to figure out what size quilt I want and what size the blocks will have to be to hit that size quilt.
I spent a bit of time on my computer after that….I want to quilt this squiggle quilt next, because I think I have the perfect pattern. I had to get it out of my emails and loaded on my longarm….well…I’ve ordered a bunch of patterns over the last several months and finally took the time to get them printed (pictures for my book of patterns that customers use to choose what they want) and loaded onto a flash drive so that I can update them to my longarm computer tomorrow.
Michael and I shared a Cesar Salad for dinner and then he left for rehearsal around 6:30 and I headed upstairs. I knit while he was at rehearsal.
Another picture from Michael's visit:
And it’s school picture day:
*** Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is….you’re stupid and make bad decisions! ***
*** When people tell me ‘’you’re gonna regret that in the morning’’, I sleep till NOON because I’m a problem solver. ***
AJ has the best boots ! She looks just like her dad...
Border DEFINITELY gives the quilt a bright but calming tone. I really like it!
