I SKYPE’d with Janice Wednesday morning (2/26) before my honey headed off for golfing with Ed and Dave and Mark, and I headed across the street for a fabulous massage, and then a massive shopping trip at ALDI’s.
I was finally back in the studio by 2 PM, ready to load up another customer quilt:

And cut the 4 corner triangles for the QoV and get them sewn on and trimmed:

I'm sure many of you know that setting triangles are cut differently than corner triangles, and that's one of the things I want to make sure my students know when I teach this class.
By then my honey was home from golf….he said they had a GREAT time!

Quilting was cancelled again on Thursday (2/27), due to a church death, so I worked on quilting Darlene’s quilt all day….the pattern is very hard to see on the quilt, so I took a picture of it on the computer as well…so that you can see it:

I also got borders on my QoV:

It was a lovely day and seemed long for a change….so many times the day flies by and suddenly it’s 6 PM and I have no idea what I did all day! For now, I'm spending a lot of time on quilting, as the pattern my customer picked takes a LONG TIME to stitch out each row. She also wants a label for the back of the quilt, so I got that set up and sent off a picture for approval before I stitch it out.
We watched a bit of TV, but there was a UCONN ladies game on that Michael wanted to watch, so I dropped back to reading a new book. The Huskies won.....so they're the BIG EAST CHAMPS!!!!!! My honey took 2 selfies.....Ethel and Freya were both lying on him while he was watching the game:

My honey took a trip out to SWEET DOUGH Friday morning (2/28) and my donuts were absolutely heavenly! They gave me lots of energy to quilt all day and by dinnertime, my customer quilt was finished….all of the ends were woven in…and it was off of the frame and trimmed:

and the label was done as well:

Martha arrived at 6 PM, and we picked up Sandy and headed to Lancaster to see PLAY ON. The play was as funny as ever, the acting….not so much :~(. I’m sure I wouldn’t have noticed before meeting Michael, but over the years he has educated me and within the first 2 lines of the play….spoken by the director….I already knew there was going to be a problem with the pacing. Oh well…it was a lovely evening with friends and when we got home, Michael and I stayed up for a bit and didn’t get to bed until after mid-night! I forgot to get a picture of the 4 of us, so Michael and I at least tried for a selfie once we got home:

And I've had this picture for a long time and am finally getting to post it...Janice finished another FPF top (Leila - we're all so glad you turned us on to this pattern)....totally out of scraps and I just love it!

And 10 years ago....
*** Just went into a shop and said ‘’can I pay by card?’’ and he said ‘’no problem, what card do you have?’’ and I said ‘’the six of spades…’’ ***
*** I did a push-up today. Well, actually, I fell down, but I had to use my arms to get back up so…..close enough. ***
Hmmmm Leila’s quilt all scraps. Interested in that. You and Michael's selfie 👍
