Table Runner done

Michael left before 8 AM for a 2 day tournament here at SCCL on Wednesday (9/29) while I had my usual Wednesday morning SKYPE with Janice. By the time I finished dishing out Michael’s yoghurt from the crockpot:

throwing in laundry and packing the dishwasher, I didn’t make it to the studio until NOON.

I have 3 customer ‘’quilts’’ to get done…I put that in quotes because the first one is a table runner (which I will definitely be saying NO to in the future!)

It takes me almost as long as a quilt to get it pinned and basted, and it hits my minimum charge for quilting. I have procrastinated on this for MONTHS…..one - because it was a table runner…and two - because the customer said ‘’don’t worry about it…no special hurry….do it whenever you can’’. People should really NEVER say that to me :~).

I worked on it all afternoon….changing my mind about the pattern 3 times in the process, but finally it was done:
