Totally finished quilt, show & tell from BG and Arizona Mary

*************************************

Michael left for golf here at SCCL Wednesday morning (10/6) and I did a lot of paperwork before finally heading to the studio around 11 AM. I got my blog out before stitching down the label on a donation quilt…so you know what that means? A TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT:

After that I put in time working on binding for the squiggle quilt (I got it sewn together, but not pressed), and putting together a backing:

I finally got the backing loaded on XENA around 4 PM and decided I was tired and deserved to goof of the rest of the day :~).

My honey and I decided it was time to test out another pizza, so we got a plain cheese pizza from PIZZA HUT:

They certainly win on the toppings-to-the-edge-of-the-pizza category! We both liked the pizza and were happy to settle in after that and watch TV and relax together on Michael’s one weeknight a week at home.

And I have a quilt saga from BG....she had these blocks on her design wall:

But somehow when they were sewn together, they ended up like this:

She finally ripped a lot of it apart, and it is now back together correctly (well, she hopes it's correctly and she said if anyone find a mistake in it, DON"T TELL HER!!!)

And then we have a little mishap from Arizona Mary. Her furry baby did this:

But she managed to repair it:

I am always in AWE of those people that can do something like that...I think I would ball it up and throw it in a corner!

Arizona Mary - Give that dog some food !

BG - What were YOU drinkin' ?! You should have brought it on retreat and let the ripping fairies do their thing. ;)

Deb - Never heard of head, shoulders, knees and toes, but I could sure use the wallet, glasses, keys and phone ! Yay for the 'TOTALLY finished quilt' !!!
