Another tRUMP trantrum on MEET THE PRESS....truly, he's like a 3 year old...

I did a little bill paying Friday morning (6/5) before heading to the studio to finally finish quilting on  HST 2.

I also got set up and started to put the binding on the back of another quilt:

I got about half way done before heading over to Pam R’s house for a long and lovely visit.  When I got home, I had time to finish getting the binding on the first side before changing clothes and leaving for Fort Mill Community Playhouse and CLUE:THE MUSICAL:

How does someone take a board game and turn it into a play?  I don’t know, but they did a bang up job!!!  We laughed a lot…it was so cute….the casting was excellent….and Michael and I figured out who…and with what….and in what room for the murder!!!!  It can be different every night….I don’t know how the actors do it!

Have you ever heard the phrase ‘’I’ve got nothing to do and all day to do it in’’?  That’s how I felt when I woke up Saturday morning (6/6).  I had no customer quilts to get done….the house was clean…the laundry all done….we still had half a loaf of bread…..and leftovers for dinner….and Michael was out golfing…the feeling was LUXURIOUS!!!!

I made my morning tea and finished off my book before heading to the studio.  I continued to work on the QoV binding:

and by early afternoon, I had another TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT:

So, that's 3 down for my potential guests in November...with 2 to go!

I had hard cooked some eggs 2 days ago, so I headed upstairs after that to make some deviled eggs for my honey and some egg salad for me.  I made it back to the studio around 3 PM, and started to do the binding on my non-traditional QoV:

And I got this really pretty scrappy top finish picture from Janice….

Sunday morning (6/7) I continued to put on binding, until NOON when we left for our FRENCH PATISSERIE CLASS at The Foodie School in Fort Mill.

What a fun class, here’s the menu:

they had a light snack set out for us before we got started:

and then it was 3 hours of absolutely delight:

-some macaron shells

-dough for eclairs

We paused half way through for a little refreshment once the savory gougeres were baked:

and then went back to assemble everything else:

It truly looked like the display case in a high end pastry shop, and everything tasted FABULOUS!!!!

We were both beat when we got home, and sat and read our books for a bit, but eventually Michael started watching some golf he had taped, and I headed to the studio to continue with binding…..by 8 PM, I was psyched to have another TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT:

*** Just been on the WEIGHT WATCHERS website and it asked me if I accept cookies? Is that a trick question? ***
