Visit with Janice & Dennis

Of course I had a fabulous time visiting with Janice and Dennis and I got everything done I wanted to….and more! First....how long was I there? The car seemed like I packed for a month!!!

I got there at 11:30 AM on Friday, and we were set up and sewing within 35 minutes:

I got all 4 of my quilts bound and the labels stitched down….

And Janice got her Bonnie Hunter mystery, Chilhowie, put together:

I also got the binding on the one side of one of my class quilts for Thursday, and got most of the blocks sewn for my new fat quarter quilt!

We talked and laughed and ate our way through the 5 days….she made wonderful dinners….first a Thai Red Curry with chicken:

then a pasta primavera dish and finally Mexican Chicken Stew. I finally took along the gifts I had for Janice and Dennis (courtesy of Sandy D and Donna F)...totes for the beach....that Janice also thought would work beautifully when they go to Maine on vacation each year:

We watched TV in the evenings and I even got some knitting done. I headed out Tuesday morning:

and was home by 2 PM. I guess the drive really takes it out of me as I didn’t do anything the rest of the day and evening :~).
