We had a lazy Sunday (2/27) morning. Michael found a new recipe for waffles that uses buttermilk (none of my current recipes do), so we checked that out:

He said they reminded him of the waffles you get at the breakfast bar in a hotel…..sturdier than our usual waffles, but not bad. The batter was WAY THICKER than any of my other waffle recipes....so it was a little hard to spread out in the waffle maker.

Then we SKYPE’d with AJ and Marc, and afterwards I headed to the bedroom to talk to Connie….while Lucy was checking me out from her tree:

I finally got to the studio around 1 PM, determined to finish my customer quilt before I quit for the night…and I did!!!

I also got the corners on my quilt…and the first border on:

I wanted it to be wider, because that green is the color I wanted to highlight, but I only had 10’’ left….so a 1’’ border it is! I headed upstairs at 8 PM to collapse, and watch SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN with my honey!

I keep forgetting to post this….when Arizona Mary was here, she mentioned that she needed to make a cover for her sewing machine….I had an extra one and took it to her at QUAP…and it fits!:

AND, we needed a birthday card recently, so Michael decided to draw one…I LOVE it:
