I had an early morning PT appointment on Friday (6/23). My lower back is not getting any better with my chiro treatments, so when I went for my 1 year follow up on my knee, I asked the doc whether he thought some PT would help. My lower back is hurting with every step I take, and initially when I sit down or stand up. And I can’t stand for very long or it really starts hurting. He showed me on the X-ray why I was feeling the pain, and he thought PT could definitely help.
I was home from PT before 10 AM and my honey made me a terrific new breakfast (pictures in the future!), while I put together his yoghurt - started in the crockpot yesterday:
-incubating overnight
-making the grab-n-go cups, starting with fruit on the bottom
-then the yoghurt
-then a little jam for sweetness
Then it was time to get going on my customer quilt…unfortunately, MICROSOFT had decided to lock up my computer and I could not get to the customer information I needed…..SO FRUSTRATING!!! I finally called Matt (our computer tech guy) and he had it fixed in under 60 seconds…..as much as I hate MICROSOFT…..I LOVE Matt! I finally started to set up my program around 11 AM and kicked off the quilting.
Candy just wanted a simple meander and that design stitches out relatively quickly, so the quilting was finished by dinnertime. Michael wanted to watch a movie after dinner, so I got the quilt all cleaned up and off of the frame:
by the time I joined him upstairs at 9 PM.
Remember the blue fabric I was selling awhile ago? Well, Cindy bought some and completed a WALK ABOUT quilt...I think it looks great!!!
*** You know that tingly feeling you get when you enter a quilt shop? It’s the common sense leaving your body. ***
Ooooo, I love strawberries in my yogurt!!!
I had that tingly feeling yesterday at Sewendipitous. Apparently, I wasn't tingling enough because I bought more fabric and necessary supplies online at Fat Quarter Shop! 😮
The blog finally opened! Hope PT helps your back. The quilt block that is black, is that swirl in the fabric or the quilting, very nice.
